The purpose of this site is to be a depository of everything related to Disc Golf in the State of Illinois. It will include the most complete tournament information available, links to clubs and courses in the state, information about the sport, links to The Professional Disc Golf Association,...and anything else I can think of or you request. To accomplish this I need your help. Please send me any suggestions you feel should be included on this site. This includes, but is not limited to, tournament information, tournament results, links, and pictures.

I discovered this great sport in 1986. I have played over 100 different Disc Golf Courses. I am a Certified PDGA Official, Tournament Director, member of the Disc Golf Course Design Group, PDGA State Coordinator for Illinois 2000-2004, and current President of the Peoria Frisbee Club.

When I was appointed as the State Coordinator in 2000, I felt that a website for Illinois was needed. I taught myself HTML and started a site that was located at www.geocities.com/discgolfer6583. After 20,000 hits on that site I purchased the domain name illinoisdiscgolf.com. This site was born in Febuary of 2003.
